The baby book we always meant to finish

Littlebound started with a baby book that never made it past week twelve.

One of us bought a beautiful one during her first pregnancy. She wrote down the due date, taped in the first scan, and then life happened. By the time her son turned one, the pages were still blank, and she couldn’t quite remember what his first laugh sounded like or what had kept her up the night before he was born.

When we asked other parents, almost everyone had the same drawer: a baby book with four pages filled in, a phone full of thousands of photos, and a quiet feeling that the real stories were slipping away. Nobody was short on love or memories. They were short on time, and on a free hand. Writing anything down with a newborn on your chest is a lot to ask.

So we turned it around. Instead of asking you to sit down and write, we send one simple question a week by text. You answer with a short voice note whenever you can: during a night feed, in the car, on a walk around the block. We turn your words into a chapter that still sounds like you, and at the end you get a printed book with your stories right next to your photos.

We built Littlebound for every parent who means to write it all down someday. Now someday takes about a minute a week, because the little things are the ones you’ll want back.
